Mexican Fishing Licenses are available at Marina de La Paz
Mexican Fishing License - OnlineRules have recently changed regarding Mexican Fishing Permits. The changes have eliminated the requirement for a license for the boat and dinghy. The changes take effect on Jan 1, 2008. In addition the fishing license is now available online. Everything can be done online except paying the fee. That will require a trip to a Mexican bank. The following will attempt to walk you through the process and hopefully make things as painless as possible. The assumption is that you are in Mexico while attempting the online process. This document took hours to compile and numerous trips to the bank until finally we got it sorted out. BUT if you can find a fishing store that will sell you a Mexican fishing license as one stop shopping DO IT!! For those not close to a shop that will generate a license read on.
OverviewFill out the online form and then print the generated 2 PDF pages. Take the forms to a Mexican bank and pay the fee ($447 pesos + $35 pesos). The bank will supply you with 2 receipts with numbers that need to be saved. The two numbers are needed to complete the online portion and obtain your fishing license. Log back onto to the website, enter the receipt numbers and your fishing license will be generated. Print out your new fishing license.
Note: the instruction here will only work with microsoft internet explorer! Part 1Go to:http://www.conapesca.sagarpa.gob.mx/wb/ Right hand side click “Pesca Deportiva” Lower right hand corner click “e5Cinco’ Right Hand side click Pesca Deportivo-Recreativa
Fill out the form be sure to have a printer hooked up at this time.
. Click the box: Imprimir Hoya de Ayuda to print
This will generate two web PDF pages to print. One page will be for the $447 peso fee and the other will be for the $35 peso fee.
Print out the completed generated PDF forms.
Now just to make sure your application is in the system skip down to part 2 doing step 1 –7. You should see your entry in the queue. If you do not then there is a problem.
Take the two pages to a Mexican Bank (we used Bancomer), Pay the fee and you will receive a receipt for each of the 2 forms. Also the bank we went to did not take a credit card! So bring cash.
Banamex Bank did not work. The Banamex print out does not include all the numbers needed. We used the Bancomer. Other banks may work but have not been tested.
Present the teller with the 2 forms and pay your money. They will give you 2 printed receipts (one for the 35 pesos fee and the other for the $447 peso license fee) The top of the receipt will say “Recino Bancario de Pago de Contribuciones / Productos Y Aprovechamientos Federales”.
If paying for multiple licenses make sure your receipt from the bank has each individuals name on the bank receipt. For example if your buying a license for 2 people you should get 2 receipts for each individual with the individuals name on them.
The two receipts supplied by the bank will contain the following information:
No. de opericion: 12 digits Llave de Pago: 10 digit number
Before leaving the teller check to make sure the receipts have your name and contains No. de opericion number & Llave de Pago number. Once you have the receipt then log back onto the website.
Part 2
These directions were compiled by Chuck on Jacaranda and Gary on Harlekin. Corrections have been made by Allan Winn on Oso Negro to reflect apparent changes in the web page. Every attempt has been made to ensure that the directions are correct but heck its Mexico and not everything works as planned. Please let us know if any changes need to be made to this document and we will update it. Thanks
