Excellent videos of La Paz and the Sea From Greg & Jill Delezynski SV GuenevereHere is another example of the cruisers working with the community.
Jan Loomis, on MERIDIAN PASSAGE who is also author of "The Healthy Cruiser's Handbook", brought down what looked like a zillion toothbrushes with her. She contacted a local dental Orthodontist and sponsored a tooth brushing clinic at the school in the Marques de Leon Community. It was an hour or so of "all smiles".
For some reason one of the more expensive items in Mexico is toothpaste. If you are on your way down and are looking for a way to make a difference, one way might be to throw a few extra tubes in your bag for the kids.
